The lot features a cast steel broadaxe camp axe that is marked, "CAST STEEL ALLAN MFG. WARRANTED". The piece comes with a solid wood hickory or oak haft handle. The head shows an octagonal eyelet hole with the broad wide blade having the curves of the faceted eyelet hole extended down to the blade surface, an wonderful addition. The piece comes from an American Indian collection where the collector stated it as bein a Tomahawk, with no available evidence to this affect.
