For your consideration are two stereoview photographs taken by two different photographers based Alma Park, Colorado in the 1870s to 1880s. The first in this lot was taken by T.C. Miller and shows a group of men freighting ore from Mt. Lincoln in Colorado in the 1970s. A large group of mules can be seen carrying various loads of supplies and ore to their next destination as a few men stand and a few sit on horse back. The back of the photo is marked reading, "Colorado Views Published by T.C. Miller / Portrait & Landscape Photographer. / Alma Park Co, Colo. / Freighting Ores From Mt. Lincoln". The second stereoview was taken by James W. Nutt in Alma, Colorado in 1884. The stereoview shows a black colored mule loaded with two hay bales. The bottom is marked reading, "Alma Colorado 1884 / The Rocky Mountain Nightingale". The back of the photo is marked reading, "Colorado Views Published by James W. Nutt / Portrait and Landscape Photographer, Alma, Colo Subject". The photos show good condition overall with slight wear present from their age and use over the years, but no signs of damage is noted.
