Included in this lot we have a Native American Indian bowie trade knife with elk antler grips originating from the late 1800's to early 1900's. The knife displays a clip point style bowie knife blade with old elk antle grips. The blade shows sheet steel construction with a single cutting edge and clip point tip. The grip displays old elk antler grips held with copper and iron pins and shows some separation across the surface due to age. The piece comes with a nylon sheath that is a latter addition. The piece shows good condition for its age with wear and light pitting across the blade with splitting on the surface of the grips. The knife measures 16 7/8" long with a 11" long blade.
