Featured in this lot we have a set of framed American Indian Yei sand art by C Checharella. The art displays three yei figures on a tan background. Sand art is a traditional art style used by the Navajo, Hopi, Zuni, and other plains tribes. The two figures on the sides show colorful designs with bowed figures representing the traditional Rainbow man. The center figure is made of colorful sand and shows a more standard straight yei figure. The art is set into a wooden frame with a brown border around the art. The back of the frame is marked "All Three By: C. Checharella Two Outside: "Rainbow" Middle: "Straight Yei"". The piece shows good condition overall with some light wear across the frame. The frame measures 17 3/4" wide by 11 3/4" tall with the larger art pieces measuring 3 3/4" wide by 7 3/4" tall.
