Available in this lot we have a MGM framed movie poster for "Mogambo" originating form 1953. The movie follows a big-game hunter in Kenya played by Clark Gable, as he goes on a gorilla hunt, as two women played by Ava Gardner and Grace Kelly fight for his attention. The top of the poster shows Gable and Gardner's characters holding each other with Kelly to their left holding a revolver. The bottom of the poster shows Gable facing down a gorilla with spears on the side. The poster is marked across the top reading "Filmed on Safari in Africa! Mighty! Mogambo from MGM in color by Technicolor". The poster is set into a white painted wooden frame with a off-white border on either side of the poster. The piece shows good condition overall with some light wear on the frame. The frame measures 30 1/2" tall by 24 1/2" wide with the art measuring 20" wide by 27 1/2" tall.
