Included in this lot for your consideration is an ancient wooly mammoth scrimshaw tusk. The tusk is fossilized, and sits on a tusk base. The scrimshaw art work depicts a sailing ship, and shows very fine detail in craftsmanship. The piece is signed on the back "M. Scott". Overall, the piece shows very good condition. The piece measures 4 3/4" tall, and 2 1/8" wide, and 1 1/2" deep at the base.
