For your consideration is this framed collection of 27 ancient, small and medium, obsidian arrowheads from the Transitional Archaic period. This is a wonderful collection of points, including a three medium size arrowheads showing a Lanceolate and side notch points. The two side notches measure 1" to 1 1/2" and the longer measures 1/2 x 2. Also in this collection are 24 small arrowheads, including one side notch flint and 23 obsidian arrowheads with triangle projectile, side notch points. These smaller arrowheads range in measurements from 1/4 x 5/8 to 3/8 x 1." The points are all made from obsidian with slight serration on the blades of the points. All 27 are expertly crafted, showing well-preserved museum quality and good condition and all being of a high collector grade. The measurements of this framed collection are 12 1/4 x 8 1/4".
