Included in this lot is a Native American turtle shell, fur covered rattle attributed to a Navajo ceremonial rattle. This piece shows a large turtle shell with fur in between the top and bottom part of the shell and also at the end of the handle. Wrapped around the handle of this piece are dyed leather tassels with white, purple, and sky blue beads. This piece is in good condition, showing no signs of cracks or damage. The rattle measures 14" long and the shell measures 6" by 7".
