Included in this lot is an ancient wooly mammoth scrimshaw tusk. The tusk is fossilized and sits on a rosewood base. The scrimshaw art work depicts a sailing ship and shows very fine detail in craftsmanship. Overall, the piece shows very good condition. The piece measures 3 3/8" tall and 1 1/2" wide and deep.
