For your consideration are a collection of seven Annual Reports of the Inspector of Mines of the state of Montana, 1892-1912. There are nine total booklets in this collection. The 1982 copy is the fourth annual report from the Inspector of Mines and is presented by Joseph Hogan to the Governor of Montana, Jospeh K. Toole. This collection includes reports from the years 1892, 1893, 1895, 1897, 1898, 1907-8, 1911-12. The cover the reports include the report number, date, the Inspector and Deputy and printers. Names on these reports include, Joseph Hogan, Jacob Oliver, Chas S. Shoemaker, Charles S. Shoemaker, John H. Miles, John Byrne, Frank Hunter, William Walsh, and William Orem. These reports are printed by state and independent publishers from both Butte and Helena, Montana. The last two are Inspector of mines of the State of Montana circa 1891 and 1890 with the second one published by the Deputy Inspectors of Mines G.C. Swallow.
