Included in this lot is a Frederic Remington, bronze art piece titled "Mountain Man'. Frederic Remington (1861-1909) is considered one of the most prolific and important Western artist of the 19th century. His works are immensely valuable and his style is highly sought after. This piece was entitled, “The Mountain Man”, and shows a man on horseback riding down a steep cliff with his rifle on his lap. This bronze is marked across the side reading “Copyright By Frederic Remington.” The sculpture is set onto a green marble base with a brass plaque across the front reading "Mountain Man By Frederic Remington". The original of this sculpture sold at auction for $132,000 in 2014. The bronze shows good condition with little to no wear. The statue measures 27 1/2" tall by 19" long and 11 1/2" wide.
