Featured in this lot is a pair of vintage antique lamps made by the companies 1) Dietz and 2) Rose Manufacturing Company. The Dietz lamp is a tubular automobile lamp patented circa 1887-1897. It is marked "DIETZ TUBULAR AUTOMOBILE LAMP NEW YORK U.S.A. PATENTED JAN. 4 '87 MCH. 6 '88 JAN. 26 '97". It measures 13 1/2" tall with the handle up and 7 1/2" wide. It is in good condition for age (crack on lens). The Rose lamp is titled The Neverout and is an insulated kerosine safety lamp. It is marked "THE NEVEROUT TRADEMARK INSULATED KEROSINE SAFETY LAMP PATENTED ROSE MFG. CO. PHILADELPHIA U.S.A.". It measures 9" by 5" and is in good condition for age.
