Antique Globe-Wernicke Section Barrister Bookcase

For consideration in this lot we have a Antique Globe-Wernicke sectional barrister bookcase with three shelf units. This barrister bookcase from Globe-Wernicke is made up of five interlocked pieces consisting of a pattern 308 section, a pattern 310 section, a pattern 312 section, a pattern 847 base section, and a pattern 141 top section - Originating from the 1920's. The barrister is constructed from quarter sawed oak, furnished with a brownish dark wax finish, and has dull brush finished brass hardware. Additionally all sections still have their original paper label with the exception of the base. This Globe-Wernicke sectional barrister bookcase is in wonderful condition exhibiting a slight patina indicative of age, it's believed to be sporting original glass and internals. Overall the barrister is in very good condition with only minor wear on the top from use as a display shelf and would make a great addition to any office or study. The bookcase measures 50 1/2" tall by 34" wide by 11 1/2" deep overall, with section 308 interior measuring 9" tall, section 310 is 10 1/2" tall, and section 312 is 12 1/2" tall by 32" wide by 9 1/2" deep. The top of the base stands 10 1/2".
