The lot features a very unique and unusual early antique Jerusalem Crusaders Maltese Cross silver and ruby bracelet. The piece shows a bangle style with swing out clasp. The bracelet shows a round brilliant old cut very large precious gemstone Ruby with an approximate size of 2.5 to 3 carats. The ruby has been tested and is an authentic original that shows a fine clear quality. The hinged bracelet shows a silver bezel setting at the center which is at the center of a large Maltese cross which is also accented by four filigree style smaller silver Maltese crosses. The piece has a wide scalloped edge and a highly worked filigree and spotted design. The piece shows a fine original condition with no visible damage and a nice patina. The piece is marked twice (which is difficult to read) with what appears to be “S675”. Measures 6.5” inside circumference wrist size and 2 1/8” across the face by 2.5” wide at the clasps.
