For your consideration is this custom made, unusual Rabbit fur coat. The full length coat has a somewhat curly, short brown fur, Bakelite buttons, and a brown satin lining. The tag inside the coat reads, "Fashionfurs/ Made to Order For the Symons Dry Goods Co. Symons Dry Goods Co. was a dry goods company in Butte, Montana. The Symons Dry Goods Store opened circa 1897 and was in operation at least into the late 1930's. This coat looks to be from the 1920's or 1930's. It is in excellent condition, having no holes or fur loss, though there are two small rips in the lining, as shown.
