Featured in this lot is an Italian manufactured Antonio Zoli & Co. black powder percussion cap rifle chambered in .58 Caliber. The rifle displays a 33" long round barrel, brass trigger guard, case hardened lock plate and hammer, brass storage door, walnut stock, ram rod, and blue'd finish. This is a high grade and good condition example. The rifle was manufactured in Italy. The top of the barrel is marked "Antonio Zoli & Co. Made in Italy 58 Caliber" and the side of the barrel is marked "F.A.R.A. 24758" with manufacture and import stamps. The lock plate is stamped with the image of an eagle with a shield and arrows. The rifle shows good condition, with tight action and good working mechanics. Serial Number: 24758. This firearm qualifies as an antique and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
