For your consideration is an original Ignatius Palmer Apache painting, signed and dated 1972. Ignatius Palmer (1922-1985), a Mescalero, New Mexico, Apache fine art painter, created this powerful image of an Apache warrior in full gallop, ready to launch his spear into an unfortunate enemy. Palmer has exhibited his work at the Heard Museum, Museum of New Mexico in Santa Fe, and the Philbrook Museum of Art. The vibrant colors and detail show an active scene. Palmer signed and dated the painting in the lower right hand corner. The visible art measures approximately 8 1/2 x 11 1/2" and the frame measures approximately 14 1/2 x 17 1/2"
