Featured in this lot is this Apsáalooke Crow hide beaded sheaths circa 1960's. There are two sheaths in this collection. The first sheath shows a white Indian tanned hide face with tanned hide on the back and shows floral decoration with trade seed beads that show coloration of translucent red, pink & clear, translucent green, translucent yellow, medium blue, and brown. The second shows Indian tanned hide with a floral decoration to the center of the sheath that shows trade seed beads that include coloration of sky blue, reflective blue, chalk white, translucent yellow, and orange. The condition of this pair of these beaded sheaths is preserved with one of them showing some age with wear to the hide but otherwise shows a preserved condition. The measurements of these sheaths are 7 1/4" x 3 7/8" and 6 7/8" x 3 1/2". The collective weight of these sheaths is U6oz.
