For your consideration is this watercolor from Arapahoe artist Carl Sweezy (1881-1953). The watercolor depicts a Arapahoe Native American man mounted on his horse looking into the distance. Carl Sweezy was a Southern Arapaho painter from Oklahoma. He painted individual portraits, but was best known for his portrayals of ceremonies and dances. The condition of this framed watercolor is good showing a well preserved watercolor example and a sturdy hardwood frame. This painting shows good gallery quality condition. The measurements of this framed 19 1/4" x 16 1/4" and the visible art measures 17 1/2" x 14 3/4".
