Featured in this lot is an Armand American Horse alpaca silver and brass horse overlay pendant. Armand American Horse (1982- ) is a Lakota Native American Indian silversmith artist. The piece displays alpaca silver construction and hand tooled designs across the face. The center of the piece displays a brass overlay of a horse head. To the Native Americans, the horse represents freedom and was their token of war. The bail has a copper colored star button with four cactus buttons around it. Hanging from the bottom of the pendant disk are three feathers. The feather symbolizes high honor, power, wisdom, trust, strength, and freedom. The back of the pendant displays Armand's hallmark. The piece shows good condition overall, with some light wear. The pendant measures 4 1/2" tall by 2 1/2" wide.
