Included in this lot are three pairs of Armand American Horse nickel silver Southern Plains earrings. Armand American Horse (1982-) is a Lakota Native American Indian silversmith artist. The first pair are long floral turtle earrings. These earrings feature a circular pendant at the top of the earrings with three rectangular pendants underneath and a turtle pendant at the bottom. The top pendant is hand stamped with a floral design; the rectangular pendants are marked with geometric designs and the turtle pendants also show a floral design. The second pair of earrings is similar to the first, but instead of a turtle, the bottom pendant is a peyote bird. The third pair of earrings displays a large silver feather with two small feather pendants dangling from each side of the feather. Armand's hallmark is marked on the back of each earring. All of the pieces are in good condition, showing no signs of damage. The feather earrings show some slight patina. The turtle earrings measure 5 1/2" long by 1" wide. The peyote earrings measure 5 1/4" long by 7/8" wide. The feather earrings measure 3 1/2" long by 3/4" wide.
