Featured in this lot is an Original Signed Armand American Horse Gorget style Alpaca Silver and Gold Copper Alloy Necklace. Armand American Horse (1982- ) is a noted Lakota Sioux Indian silversmith artist. Three gorgets highlight this beautiful necklace, each gorget finished in gold copper alloy, increasing in size downward. The lower gorget has a deer depiction, the middle gorget has an eagle/hawk depiction, and the smallest gorget has a cross on a branch depiction. The upper portion of the necklace has a stamped Alpaca silver chain design of alternating rectangle, circle, and oval shapes with a cross centered on the circles and ovals. The Armand American Horse hallmark is on the back of the lowest gorget. The condition of this necklace is very fine with no obvious signs of damage. The measurement of this necklace from clasp to the bottom of the gorgets is 16"L. First gorget is is 5"W, middle gorget is 5.75"W, and the last gorget is 6.25"W approximately.
