This is a beautiful mirror with multi-faceted design, tiny fragments of mirror on top of the main mirror, and floral decorations adorning the border of the mirror. There is a lining of black velvet surrounding the outside of the main body of the mirror. The Venetian mirror was born on the tiny Italian island of Murano in Venice in the 15th century. Venetian mirrors were painstakingly produced, and creating one was a highly involved process. Venetian mirrors, the purest mirrors in the world, set the bar very high for other mirror manufacturers.
