Featured in this lot is this authentic Middle Eastern Arabian camel headstall, circa early 1900's. This headstall shows authentic construction similar to headstalls used for cart pulling horses with ceremonial blinders on and shows red, gold, and beige wool tassels throughout the headstall with a canvas strap frame. The muzzle guard is used to prohibit spitting, which is a common social response with camels. The condition of this halter is good, with slight wear from time and usage. The measurements of this ceremonial halter are 25 1/2" x 9" x 10".
