Patterson, as Editor and Amanuersis. This book is an account of Black Hawk embracing the traditions of his nation, various wars in which he been engaged, and his account of the cause and general history of the black hawk war of 1832. Including his surrender and travels through the United States. This book is dictated by himself. This rare copy is in good condition for age and use showing loosening to spine, and wear to cover. It has a faded red cover and gold gilt lettering on cover and spine. It measures 5.5" W x 8.25" L.
