This is an excellent hand woven flat weave rug by master weaver, Alicia Guitierrez. The rug was made using 100% soft, fine, hand spun wool yarns in a beautiful Banded Crystal Chinle pattern. The rug was hand woven with a tight weave using 100% hand spun wool yarns that offer natural variegation and durability with color fast aniline dyes. The tight, hand woven weave, displayed with natural fleece tones, is in the fine Banded Crystal Chinle pattern of the time-honored Zapotec, multi-generational craft by a master weaver, Alicia Guitierrez. This rug shows iconic Zapotec design with thick, symmetrical Banded Crystal Chinle design featuring bands of medallions and bands of crystal design with lovely textures of dark brown, light brown, yellow, and cream and bicolor tassels of dark brown and white. The piece is brand new, in pristine condition, with a fine, tight weave. The rug measures 2’ by 3’ (2 foot by 3 foot). This is a brand new rug.
