Featured in this lot is this Bedouin Arabic inscribed copper coffee Dallah circa mid 1900's. This coffee pot features a wonderfully and professionally crafted copper construction that shows a dovetail joint on the bottom of the base and shows a dangle crescent moon near the spout and shows the lid as the steep section with a traditional Bedouin spout. A dallah is a traditional Arabic coffee pot used for centuries to brew and serve Qahwa, an Arabic coffee or Gulf coffee made through a multi-step ritual, and Khaleeji, a spicy, bitter coffee traditionally served during feasts like Eid al-Fitr. The condition of this coffee dallah is preserved with parts showing heavy patina and some slight repairs with wear consistent with its age but otherwise is in preserved condition. The measurements of this coffee dallah is 18" x 19" x 7 1/4". The collective weight of this coffee dallah is 6lb 6oz.
