Featured in this lot we have a Belgian Browning model Auto 22 semi automatic rifle chambered in .22 LR. This Belgian made Browning was produced by Fabrique Nationale Herstal based on a John Browning patent. The semi-automatic .22 is a made from blue'd steel and straight grain walnut, and ejects spent cases downward. The rifle displays a 19" long round barrel, walnut stock & foregrip, blue finish, and bottom ejecting semi auto action. The top of the barrel is marked with "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY ST LOUIS Mo. & MONTREAL P.Q. MADE IN BELGIUM" with the left side reading "22 LONG RIFLE" with proof marks and the right reading "BROWNING PATENTS". The reciever displays etched floral designs across the center with proof marks on the bolt. The front sight fixed blade dovetail set to the barrel and the rear sight is a “V” notch blade dovetailed into the barrel adjustable for elevation. This Fabrique Nationale manufactured Browning .22 Caliber Semi-Auto solid frame rifle is light weight and features an eleven round internal magazine which is loaded through a port on the right side of the butt stock. The rifle shows good condition with minor wear due to handling and mechanically shows working condition. The piece weighs 4lbs 14oz. Serial Number: 3T82169.
