The lot features an original Belgian Flobert Style Warnant single shot 8mm parlor rifle. The rifle features a heavy bull 24 inch full octagon barrel, fixed front sight, ornate trigger guard, dark patina’d blue finish and a checkered walnut stock. The rifle originates from between the early 1880’s to early 1900’s. The piece shows no visible markings. The three main Flobert variants are described and illustrated in Single Shot Rifles And Actions by Frank De Haas. The rifle shows fair condition overall for its age with some dents and slight pitting in areas, there are two sizeable cracks in the walnut stock and the hammer works intermittently. Serial Number: No Serial Number This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic Long Gun, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
