This lot features a Remington Sportsmaster Model 512 .22 bolt action rifle. The rifle features a 25" barrel, straight grain walnut stock, cocked indicator, 15 round tube magazine, and iron sights. The Remington Model 512 Sportsmaster is a bolt-action rifle manufactured by Remington Arms. The Model 512 has a 25-inch barrel, a one-piece hardwood stock, and a blue'd metal finish. An unusual feature of this rifle is that it uses a tubular magazine in conjunction with a bolt action. Most modern tube-fed firearms typically use a lever action or a pump action, but in the middle of the 20th century, many bolt-action .22's used tubular magazines as the high-capacity magazine of the era. The rifle is in good condition showing some wear to the stock and little wear to the bluing. The rifle was manufactured in 1935. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic Long Gun, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
