Included for your consideration in this lot is a RARE Beretta Victoria "Brevetto 1922" break-action, single shot 20 gauge shotgun. This single-family firearm was purchased in Italy in 1923, and show the classic Beretta fit & finish - Weighing only 4.1 Pounds, and showcasing an immaculately blue'd 27 1/2" barrel and receiver, with rich brown walnut fixtures. The fore-grip, and straight stock boast an intricate cut checkered texture. Additionally, the shotgun is decorated with simple engraving running down the top rib of the barrel, and showing an elegant angel on the top of the chamber. The barrel breaks with the pull of a secondary trigger, placed ergonomically in front of the main assembly. The shotgun is marked in numerous places, reading; "Veritable - Monoblock - Victoria" on the top of the chamber, "20 - P. Beretta-Gardone. V.T - Brescia - Brevetto 1922" on the left side of the receiver, "Fucile Rinforzato - Per Polveri Bianche - Speciale" on the right side of the receiver, and showing the "P. Beretta Armi - Brescia" plaque on the steel butt-plate. The shotgun is also marked "3201" on the trigger guard, and "33201" on both the receiver and barrel, accompanied by multiple proof marks. Overall, the shotgun shows very-good condition, especially for the age. The firearm shows 95%+ blue'd finish, with minimal handling marks on the walnut fixtures. As well, the shotgun has a very smooth action, and a good bore, showing some darkness. This shotgun qualifies as a Curio & Relic Long Gun, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
