Featured in this lot we have a Master's edition great horned owl by Big Sky Carvers. This original carving was made in Manhattan, Montana. The carving depicts a great horned owl perched on a post and looking off to the side. The piece is expertly carved from a single piece of wood and shows wonderful hand painted color. The owl was made by Ken White as part of the Master's Edition carvings and is marked across the bottom with a medallion. The bottom of the carving reads "Master's Edition Woodcarving Manhattan, MT Big Sky Carvers 15/1250 USA" and is signed "K.W. White 12/10/2010". The owl shows good condition overall with a single dent on the right wing. The owl measures 15 1/2" tall by approximately 5 1/4" at its widest.
