Included in this lot consisting of three powder flasks and one shot/bullet flask. The largest powder flask measures approximately 7 ¾” and is made of copper showing a lovely uncleaned deep brown patina. It is embossed with a game-bird scene in a circular motif. It has a brass adjustable spout and attachment rings; the mid-sized powder flask measures approx. 6 1/4” in length and is made of bright metal embossed with intricate dog and game bird scenes and the spout is adjustable; the small flask measures approximately 4 ¼” and appears to be constructed of heavy gauge bronze with brass fittings and spout. It is embossed on both sides with an eagle holding a single action percussion revolver in its talons; The leather shot/bullet flask measures approximately 7” in length and has a bass stopper with spring loaded catch to hold it to the flask. The opening is large enough to hold large caliber round balls for rifle shooting or shot for fowling purposes. It is embossed on both sides with scenes of a hunter and hounds. The leather shows age and has minor repairs while the brass fittings and stopper are unpolished and display a deep aged patina.
