Featured in this lot we have a Blackfeet Native American hide drum and beater stick originating from the mid to late 1900's. The drum displays hide construction stretched over a round wooden frame. The back of the drum shows a rawhide bands with a leather wrapped around the rawhide making a handle. The inside of the drum is hand marked "Durge Colel Pensen". The piece comes with a beater stick showing fiberglass rod with rawhide handle and cotton fabric head with a taped end. The piece shows good condition overall with some light wear. The drum measures 13 1/2" in diameter by 3" wide.
