Offered in this lot is a collection of three sheriff's badges. Two of the badges are from Georgia and have names of officers on them, the other badge is from Florida and is a badge celebrating the 150th Anniversary of Orange Co. Sheriff dept. The first badge is brass colored with a white enamel five pointed star in the center. The outer ring says "JAILER" across the top and "C.LEATUERMAN". The white star in the center has the seal of the "Georgia Sheriff's Association", across the top of the star it says "Sheriff's Office", and across the bottom "McDuffie GA. County. This badge measures 2" across. The next badge is also brass and is the same as the previous badge except it is for a "Deputy Sheriff C.E. Hendrix". The last badge is silver and has a six pointed star in the center of the ring. On the outer ring across the top is "Sheriff's Office" on either side is "1845-1995" across the bottom is "150th Anniversary". In the center of the star is the seal of Florida. Ribbons on the star say "Sheriff's Explorer Orange County FLA". This badge measures 2 1/2" across. All these badges have very minor wear from use.
