The lot features an original oil on stretched canvas painting of a Blackfeet / Blackfoot Tipi at Glacier National Park, Montana by multi-generation Montanan, Melanie Markovich. The painting is signed lower right and on the back, dated 2024. The painted shows two towering tipi's (also referred to as tipi, teepee, lodge, tepee) with a painted design adorning the Indian buffalo hide body. There are various sage brush in the foreground and the monumentous mountains of Glacier National Park in the background. Melanie Markovich is an American artist, born and raised in Manhattan, Montana on her families third-generation farm. Her work captures the beauty of our ever changing Montana Western landscape. She has been shown in various shows and galleries and is truly an up and coming artist in Bozeman, Montana. The painting is done along the sides as well allowing the painting to be hung without a frame. The painting is brand new in great condition. Measures 6-inches by 6-inches and 1.5-inches deep.
