Featured in this lot we have a Sharps & Hankins model 3 four shot derringer pistol chambered in .32 caliber. This derringer displays 3 1/2" long 4 barrel block, hard wood grips, spur trigger, and rotating hammer pin. The pistol shows faint case hardening across the frame with a blue'd finish across the barrels. The top of the derringer is marked reading "ADDRESS SHARPS & HANKINS PHILADELPHIA. PENN." and the right side of the frame is marked "SHARPS PATENT JAN, 25, 1859". Mechanically the pistol shows a crisp trigger and working rotating hammer striker head. The pistol shows good condition overall with the barrel stop missing and some light wear due to age and use. The derringer weighs 12oz. Serial Number: 7751. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
