The lot features a circa 1890-1900's beaded child's dance yoke from the Blackfoot (Blackfeet) Native American Indians. The piece shows an Indian tanned buckskin hide that shows wonderful fringe along each arm and at the bottom of the yoke. The piece shows floral beadwork in the typical reservation-period color and styling of the Blackfoot in glass trade seed and pony beads. The piece shows a fancy beaded edge along the collar. This is from the Ted and Lilly Jarvis Collection. Measures overall 28"L x 8.5"H.
