Offered in this lot we have a signed western print by Malone titled "Boomtown" and originating from the 1900's. The print depicts a busy western oil boomtown along the main street. The street shows eight store fronts with three automobiles and a few horse drawn carriages. The background of the print features over 20 oil drilling towers with one of the towers spraying oil. The piece is marked on the left hand side reading "Boomtown" and signed "Malone" on the right side. The piece is set into a wooden frame with a brown border around the art. The piece shows good condition overall with some light wear across the frame. The frame measures 20 1/2" wide by 17 1/4" tall with the art measuring 14" wide by 10 3/4" tall.
