Included in this lot we have a framed art piece featuring Abraham Lincoln's cabin by George H. Simpson originating from the early 1900's. The piece is a exact reproduction of a photograph taken in 1865 of Lincoln's first house. The art shows a portrait of Lincoln in the top left corner of the lithograph. The upper right hand corner shows the image of the First Macon County Court House where Lincoln practiced law. The bottom of the piece shows the images of two different plaques with dates and information on the location along with information on the original photo that was taken. The piece is set into a wood frame with a tan border around the art. It shows good condition overall with some light wear. The frame measures21 3/4" wide by 18 1/2" tall with the art measuring 13" wide by 9 1/2" tall.
