Featured in this lot is this brilliant purple sapphire diamond and platinum ring with AIGL and GIA paperwork. The ring features a polished, stamped and tested platinum ring frame with a bright finish and shows a stamp of 'Sheffield & Sons' and 'PT950' stamp underneath with a ''DO .85ct' next to the platinum marking. The center stone is a natural cushion modified brilliant cut crown purple sapphire that shows measurements of 7.33 x 5.72 x 4.14mm and shows a transparent luster with purple pinkish coloration and a total weight of 1.57 carats. The center stone and pave set shoulders are profusely decorated with a total of 136 natural round brilliant cut diamonds that shows 1.1mm measurements and a SI=SI2 clarity and G-H color gradient and shows a total diamond weight of 0.85 carats. The piece comes complete with AIGL Inc.(American International Gemological Laboratories, Inc. a GIA certified lab AIGL#: K58E18-EA17362) report and appraisal confirming the above info and giving a total value of $18,910.00. GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Sapphire Grading Report#: 6224443511. The ring size is US 7 1/4.
