Featured in this lot we have a British pattern 1821 pipe back quill point field artillery saber. The blade displays a curved etched blade with a unique quill point tip and pipe back design. The sword shows a brass guard, pommel, and grip back with warm patina and a ray skin wrapped grip. The blade displays floral and banner etched designs across both sides of the blade. The tip features a unique quill point end with the blade widening at the end. The sword shows good condition overall with some wear and a gap between the grip and guard. The sword measures 38 1/4" long with the blade being 32 3/4" long.*
