Featured in this lot we have a print titled "Bronc for Breakfast" by Charlie M. Russell. Charles Marion Russell (March 19, 1864 – October 24, 1926),also known as C. M. Russell, Charlie Russell, and "Kid" Russell, was an artist of the Old American West. Russell created more than 2,000 paintings of cowboys, Indians, and landscapes set in the Western United States and in Alberta, Canada, in addition to bronze sculptures. The print shows the image of a group of startled cowboys watch as a rider trys to control his horse. The horse is shown knocking over the cookware and water beside the fire as it trys to buck its rider. The print is signed in the left hand corner reading "C. M. Russell 1908". The piece is set into a wood frame with a canvas border around the print. The painting shows good condition overall with minor wear on the frame. The frame measures 16 3/4" wide by 13 5/8" tall with the print measuring 11 1/2" wide by 8 1/2" tall.
