Included in this lot we have a Charlie Russell print titled "Men of the Open Range". Charles Marion Russell (March 19, 1864 – October 24, 1926),also known as C. M. Russell, Charlie Russell, and "Kid" Russell, was an artist of the Old American West. Russell created more than 2,000 paintings of cowboys, Indians, and landscapes set in the Western United States and in Alberta, Canada, in addition to bronze sculptures. This print shows a group of eight cowboys on horse back heading away from a river in the background. This print shows a wonderful detail with a landscape showing an open sky, rolling hills, a river, and mountains off in the distance. The print is signed in the bottom left hand side reading "C. M. Russell". The piece is set into a wood frame with a canvas border around the print. The painting shows good condition overall with minor wear on the frame. The frame measures 16 5/8" wide by 13 5/8" tall with the print measuring 11 1/2" wide by 8 1/2" tall.
