Featured in this lot we have a Browning Superposed Midas Grade over under break action shotgun chambered in 20 gauge and comes with a travel case and .410 custom Kolar sub gauge tubes in 95%-98% fine condition. This shotgun was manufactured by Belgian Browning manufacturing in 1951-1973. The shotgun displays 26 1/4" long round over under barrels, wonderfully etched frame and receiver, high grade wood stocks with sharp checkering, and etched landscape scenes. The Midas grade is the highest grade of Superposed and is a wonderful addition to any collection. The stock displays wonderful figured wood with excellent 98% condition with sharp checkering and rounded pistol grip with the butt of the stock having been replaced. The over under barrels feature a ribbed top etched floral designs on the back and release latch with serial number and stamps across the bottom. The receiver and frame displays a dark finish with ornate etched floral and vine designs with the left side accented with gold pheasants flying, the right showing gold quail, and the bottom showing a single golden quail. The trigger guard shows floral etchings with a golden trigger. The receiver is signed in small lettering on each side by the etcher E. Vos. The shotgun comes with a leather carry case with brass hardware and wool lined interior fitted for the shotgun. The case shows a brass medallion reading "America's Finest Browning Sports Equipment Morgan, Utah Montreal P.Q. Made in U.S.A.". The shotgun comes with a pair of titanium Kolar sub gauge tubes with original receipts and removal tools. The Kolar tubes are designed to be inserted into the barrels allowing the shotgun to fire 410 gauge shells. The shotgun, case, and kolar tubes show wonderful like new condition and would make a wonderful addition to any collection. The gun and case weigh 17lbs. Serial Number: 2945 V73.
