The rifle displays an adjustable folding rear sight with a hooded fixed front sight with a level. The barrel is marked across the left side reading "Browning Arms Company Morgan, Utah & Montreal P.Q. Made in Japan" with the right side of the barrel marked "Browning Model 1885 Caliber .40-65 Black Powder Only". The rifle shows good condition overall with some light wear due to travel and use.
