One of the most famous and well-known figures of the American Old West, Buffalo Bill's legend began to spread when he was only 23. This autobiography of William Frederick Cody, the larger than life American soldier, Army scout, bison hunter, and showman includes his experiences in the early west with the settlement of the plains pony express, military guide, hunting buffalo and interaction with the Indians.
