Featured in this lot is this brown bear representation headdress from Buffalo Shop in South Dakota. The headdress features a wonderfully and professionally crafted construction that shows a warrior, Chief, or shaman headdress from the upper body of a brown bear with the paws showing complete and the head hollowed out and adorned with trade beads headed with discoidal abalone shells. The bear has its original Fish and Wildlife tag and is marked with the taxidermist shop hallmark on the inside of the hide side of the pelt. We specialize in museum-quality taxidermy and carefully curated wildlife pieces that transform interiors into spaces of character, depth, and distinction. The condition of this headdress is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this headdress is 36" x 55".
