Featured in this lot we have a Montana genuine leather take down rifle case originating from the early to mid 1900's. The piece displays genuine leather construction with steel and brass hardware. The case is designed to carry a rifle or shotgun with compartments for the stock and a separate section to store the barrel. The side of the case is marked "W.D.M. Butte, Mont.". The piece shows a carry handle across the top with a locking buckle and hardware for a shoulder strap. The piece shows fair condition overall for its age with some wear across the piece with damage to the barrel storage and missing the strap for the locking buckle. The case measures 9" tall by 31" long and 3 1/4" wide.
