Presented is an antique, late-1800s-early-1900s coffee bean burr grinder mill with a manual cast iron hand crank. Box grinders were wooden box coffee mills most commonly found on the counter of country stores or kitchen countertops during the late 1800s. They grind beans when you turn the crank that’s on the top or side of the box, and there’s a box underneath that catches and stores about a pound of coffee. The box is solid wood with finger jointed corners. The top of the grinder is cast iron with an elaborate design. The handle is also cast iron with a solid wood knob. The grinder is in good working condition, finish shows wear from normal usage and handling, otherwise in overall good condition.
Mill measures 6.75"L x 6.75"W x 11.25"H
